On a beautiful day in August, Brian and Gene decided to take the entire staff (missing Bryan Delso) on an educational field trip to the Philadelphia Art Museum. After lunch, we traveled on our mini bus to see the Frank Gehry comprehensive remodeling plans for our beloved Art Museum. Once inside, our group ventured towards the exhibit showcasing the 169,00 square foot expansion. Being architects and designers, everyone had their perspectives of the modeling and architectural plans. Of course, the dramatic proposition to punch a hole through the iconic "Rocky" Steps at the front of the museum, garnered the most discussion.
The final entertainment was a stop at Dairy Queen, where the staff not only critiqued the architecture of the building, but were forced to sample the products. Ice cream for all, even the bus driver! It was a fun mind and palate enhancing afternoon for all.
